Some of you may be familiar with Rabindranath tagore's "say not in grief" As quoted below: "Say not in grief that she is no more But say in thankfulness that she was. A death is not an extinguishing of a light, But the putting out of the Lamp, because the dawn has arrived. " I would like to share my own poem based on the above context as titled, GRIEF Damp air stays stagnant By the salty river of tears. When it dries Eyes, won't hurt, But the throbbing sting stays, For the one who left us Entailing behind. Put #joy# or #sorrow# with the title before posting π. I would love to read every work π. ~~gingerbread
