It's been 3 months from that day That day she stared back at me barely able to open her eyes any longer That day i stared back at her with unshed tears Her face -blurry , slipping from my memories her face something i cannot recall It's been 3 months since she's closed her eyes Since she couldn't hold on anymore At night i still reach for her For her bright smile For her genuine laugh For how she was able to put on that mask and still come out on top I envy her I barely remember her anymore But yet i still feel hollow I still feel incomplete Like an unsolved puzzle
