There are moments when everything seems clear, but in the next instant, the line blurs. Between what I feel and what I forbid myself to feel. You are the temptation, luring me in and tearing me apart at the same time. Sometimes I think we could make it, that somewhere between all the mistakes we have made, we could draw a line. But the more I try to stabilize myself, the more I wobble on this narrow edge. You are both the light and the shadow, the reason I stay and the reason I want to flee. It’s a dance between closeness and distance, between hope and resignation. I try to maintain control, try not to stretch my hand too far, but you are a game I can never win. Sometimes I wonder if there is even a winner, or if we are both just losing. We stand on a fine line, one step too far to the right, one word too many, and everything collapses. But still, I stay here, always drawn back by what I cannot fully understand. Maybe that is our nature, to struggle, to stumble, and then to hope that we somehow make it. Maybe we are not made to ever fully understand each other. But somewhere deep inside me, I believe that we should still try. For on this fine line, as dangerous as it is, I find something real, something that holds me, even if I am not sure how long I can keep balancing it. Maybe we will fall, maybe we will fly. But for now, we remain on this fine line. Together.
