Beware the night. Darkness comes crawling out From the cave where it took rest; Snatching children from their nest. Beware the night. The undead and masked men Roam in search of blood, To spill a life within the mud. Beware the night. Succubi wander the alleys. A trap for an adventurous man Caught in a forbidden plan. Beware the night. The masquerade is unmasked; See then, friend turning to foe To steal away your gold. Beware the night. Who can rule if not the abyss? Turn away from the shadows Lest you rot within the burrows.

Loved the precautionary tone of the poem. The lines are filled truth and beautiful imagery.
