10:53 P.M Dear Mother, I am looking at the same stars we used to look at together from the chinks of our roof. You used to tell me that if I looked hard enough, the chinks will disappear and in place of a hole where the rain used to seep in during the rainy nights, a star will fall through. I used to believe it, even now I do. But that's the faith I have in your words. I am willing to believe I can rise up from the coffin if you tell me I will. Tonight I am looking at clusters of stars again with the same thought, "Will any stars fall through?". The reason is simple. I wish I was with you and I'm willing to hold even the disappearing tail of a star if it leads me to you. By now you must understand the predicament of my heart. The heart is a wild thing. It never listens. Like a foolish man, it is filled with urgings. Like a foolish man, it can even put itself in the way of danger to quell its urgings. And because I am foolish and filled with wants, although i chiefly blame it on my heart, I wish I was with you. I do not believe anyone can be fully themselves without their mother. I do not want to know what lies beyond you. If ever I have envisioned forever, I have envisioned it because you are in it. In a few days time, I'll come home to you. Home to your storm and your thunder, to your kitchen and your hearth. Like this night, we'll look up at the sky together. If we are lucky, maybe a star will fall through and picking it up, I'll tuck it gently between your hair.
