If I were a fairy, adults would stop calling wonder a fantasy. Innocent souls would dream again, vast as the universe. If I were a fairy, I would invite everyone to dance. I would scatter glittering light to those who believe in hope into the sky. They will learn how to fly. But If I were a fairy, cruel hands would seek to capture me. Every kindness I offered, would be repaid with pride. They would argue over who discovered me first. Who understood me best. Who deserved the credit. If I were a fairy, my existence would become a possession. All of me would become their obsession. If I were a fairy, humanity would destroy me with their intention.
