I wandered alone through a city whose name felt foreign on my tongue. I was free as a bird adrift on the wind, yet freedom felt hollow, for somewhere along the journey, I had lost my flock. So I closed my eyes and surrendered to the fading of color, to the endless dark between the stars, where silence stretches farther than light. Then I felt your hand. And suddenly, color came rushing back— a flood breaking through a forgotten dam, warmth spilling across the cold landscape of my soul. And there you were. The moon, dancing across the night sky, cloaked in a light that was never yours, yet wearing it as though it had always belonged to you. In that moment, I understood: it is not the sun that teaches us how to shine, but the moon— who borrows light from another and still dares to dance. So I chose to dance, too. -red
