You might not even show it, But life has a way of knowing When you're in your boat And you've discontinued rowing. Sure, dark clouds roll in, Yet the winds of change keep coming. It carries on the breeze The hope to keep on living. ​I stepped outside one afternoon, With no intent or longing high, But lifted up my eyes to meet A hazy symphony in the sky. ​Nature provided what I needed, A lesson free and unrequested: That just behind the darkest storm, A rainbow waits, with blessings crested.
