I still have the picture of me and you The one that little girl drew I wore a hat and you danced in squeaky boots She made you taller than me Funny how the ground never seemed to touch my feet She drew a crooked smile on my face Placed my hand in yours to keep me from floating off the page I guess she knew that my mind tends to go it's own way— High up in the silly shaped clouds that you would always name and point out She drew a yellow heart around us to keep all the bad things from coming in She wrote my name above my head and even remembered to add the E at the end That little girl drew a memory One that I'll always keep The picture of you and me.
