She stands up, lifts her chin, and says, "Feminism is unnecessary." Her words fall lightly, unburdened, because others before her carried the weight. Because women walked barefoot on burning asphalt, because they screamed, fell, rose again, so her mouth could be free today. She votes because others were denied. She speaks because others were silenced. She lives because others burned. And yet, she calls the fire unnecessary. But rights are not gifts, not history’s kindness, not the accident of progress. They are fought for, suffered for, won. And they fade when left unguarded. The world owes no one gratitude, but it owes justice. Equal, whether man or woman, whether queen or worker, whether loving or beloved. Equal. Finally equal. Not as mercy, but as law. Not as a dream, but as reality.
