I roar, I *rumble*, I stampede high,  I tear through clouds, I own the sky!  The trees all shudder, the rivers race,  As thunder drums in fierce embrace.  I crackle bright with lightning’s tongue,  A jagged song, so sharp, so strong.  The rooftops *rattle*, windows *creak*,  As frightened echoes try to speak.  The ocean bows beneath my might,  Waves rise in fear, then plunge from sight.  The wind, my herald, shrieks and sings,  A melody on ghostly wings.  Yet when I’ve spent my final breath,  And silenced all my storm-born wrath,  The clouds roll back, the sky turns bright,  As dawn tiptoes with golden light.  I *murmur*, soft—a hush so deep,  The world exhales, the rivers sleep.  For though I rage, I fade away,  And leave behind a brand-new day.
