My princess, let me sit by Your little portrait, and cry. Sleep well, little princess, I shall not awake you. As a bird takes rest, After making its nest, So shall you take rest, The restless days are gone. As the ocean takes rest, After a storm, So shall you take rest, Now that you’ve grown. As a dandelion takes rest, After its children fly away, So shall you take rest, Now that you’ve flown away. As an angel sings from heaven, After the drought is gone, So shall you sing from above, Now that you’re the evening star. As the petrichor brings life, To the ephemeral summer days, So shall you bring a tear to eyes, You’ve been crowned eternity. As the eyes look for scenary, Mountains, space and streams, So shall you look for the heart, Wherever you dwell in peace. As the wind blows away, Unspoken thoughts of life, So shall you blow away, An emotion need not to say. Let me sit by the portrait, And cry in silence by myself; Do not be afraid of the dark, I will sit here as long you want. Sleep well, little princess, I will not talk a word. Rest in comfort that you deserve, Now that you’re with God.
