Riley's mind , a majestic place, A wonderful passage, where her emotions race, A palace of memories through which her behaviour is shaped, This Pixar movie is also a reflection not just an escape A shining ball of hope, warm like sunlight, We are introduced to Joy, as Riley's white night, She is the glue that holds all emotions together, with her personality cheery and bright. She never lets go of her optimism, trying to keep Riley out her duress, But her nature inadvertently , aids to Riley's stress, In the end she realises that she forever cannot take charge, Making us viewers understand, message acceptance of other emotions and seeking a balance makes her film's integral part. Light blue skin and  faint blue glow, We are introduced to Sadness, shy and slow, Scared and filled with pessimism, she always doubts herself, Tucks away her hopes behind her glasses like a book kept on a dusty shelf, She always blames herself for Riley's problems, Always feels like a burden, she is lost in her thoughts which she seldom solves them, In the end , we see in life Sadness has always a place, We all chase joy in this everlasting race, But in our timeless memories sorrow is something we all have to face.
