The last rays of light leaves tomorrow, The desperation sets in as the light dwindles. The birds quietened, dandelions settled in for the winter, The breeze cooled as you snuggled into your coat. The armchair creaked and moaned in pain, It was older than eight winters after all. It couldn't bear the weight on your heart again, The cycle repeats; your eyes fixed on the horizon The hibernation will end, the warmth will be back again You'll be able to feel their embrace soon. Yet time plays its game, runs through its playground, The snow will melt and you'll feel loved again. @Binaryocean
