This fan I took from Walmart's sale, Always served us with loyalty, Hanging on a nail, Never differentiated between female and male. I used it everywhere, even during bedtime when I told my kids some tales, Helped me get through when my body was full of pain and color pale, My lungs sounded abnormal with a distinct rale, The soothing winds it gave me during those moments felt like a gentle gale. It always gave me chills while sitting in my garden, Filled with beautiful lales, I felt like I was not at home but at a sea breeze, Surfing with the whales or maybe on a ship about to sail. Never disappointed me with its service and never failed, Helped me get rid of heat after working on cotton bales, After getting its wind, even natural air felt stale, Enjoying kale salad with this fan's wind was my favorite meal. But soon it got replaced by an air conditioner, I railed out against this injustice — it felt so untraditional. After a month of the AC’s wind, its shine and sheen, The bills were so much higher than we ever could have foreseen. So, time to get back the fan I had been using, To get back to square one happily, Not making our sweet blowing air expensive and confusing.
