was thinking of something… What if emotions were the only currency that mattered? No naira. No dollars. No coins. Just emotions. Real ones. Joy would be gold. Grief, the cost of growth. And love? The most expensive thing you could give. People wouldn’t chase riches, they’d chase healing. Not status , but softness. Not mansions, but meaning. The rich would be those who feel deeply The ones who can sit with a friend’s silence, who can recognize pain that isn't loud, who give without expecting anything in return. Fake smiles wouldn’t be accepted anymore. You couldn’t pretend. If you didn’t mean it, it wouldn’t count. Because the system would know. It would read your heart before your lips. And maybe the world would be quieter… but more alive. Fewer wars. More understanding. Because hurting someone would cost you it would literally make you poor. And guess what? Some of us… We’d be billionaires. Not because we have much, but because we’ve felt so much and still choose to feel. Maybe that’s what makes us rich already. Even in a world where emotions aren't currency we still carry wealth they’ll never understand.
