The heavy weight of a fast-beating heart The heavy weight of not enough air getting on your lungs The heavy weight of your thoughts Running free in a maze A maze made by yourself A maze made to keep them out Out of yourself I may not know what to eat But I do know that i'm hungry The tightness in my heart The tightness in my head The tightness in my body Molds me into the shape of someone Not me Someone My shaking hand With it's fading will Tries to hold still And be there for my star To be To have flaws To lie down, in disbelief To get up, still in disbelief To believe, in disbelief To love To be There's no life without death Light without darkness Happiness without sadness But we walk on our short lifes Fearing them as they were unrelated things Lost are those who wander Not those who move without direction But those who lost themselves along the way Not those who move without direction But those who never tried to find themselves along the way Not those who move without direction But those who gave up along the way On my darkests moments My thoughts bloom And just like a moonflower The smell attracts life Not pollinators, my lyre And my tears sing Alongside my mouth Try to let "angústia" run in your blood Many poets are born there And many great thoughts are to come But don't let your veins burst To live out of control Is simply to die But to die, holding tight on your life That's what living really is
