Life feels like standing in an aquarium But the glass is broken With holes like ones in my heart The water has poured in during childhood But there is nothing to patch the glass And no way out Because this is my soul Sometimes the water clears back out Through the broken glass Sometimes it's a slow release Others it's an angry mess gust of water But when the water spills too fast I stand alone Consumed by the enough tank around me Waiting to patch the holes Waiting for the fish to return So I can watch them with wonder again Like I did as a child -dust
