A divine sin I must've committed my last life For this one is hell's paradise The angels pushed me down the eternal skies Ripped my wings and forced me in shackles of never-ending whys I've survived brutality and all While the angels laughed and mocked my fall So... I might as well accept lucifer's call Life's been unjust since the very start As the Gods tore me piece by piece apart Funny how I now create poetry out of traumatic spite now called- art Thorns choke and dig deep to my skin Even when scarlet drips from deep within As the shadows of fate caress my chin "You deserve this"..."You deserve this" The skies and winds would whisper A constant lullaby that never lulled but yelled As the angels hushed me with disdain I'd cry for mercy to their feet But they would kick my face- as I lay in defeat But that fallen angel Spoke to me He took my limp body in his arms When I rose it was him I would lay my eyes on Golden wings and a picturesque face I'd never seen a being like this- so beautiful... so transcendent He looked out of pity- my wrecked body And he held me close and vowed "come to me and you'll be free" And so I stretched my hand to his Eyes glisten with tears, so as his For now we'll rule the gates of hell for all the sacred lives kept untold by the very celestial beasts
