Before the month ends, I want to share this poem— of two people's love colliding with our hearts. She was my heart, and he was her soul. She did not reap what he sowed. She held her heart with mighty grace, while he carried his with a crumbling crown. She imprisoned his heart because she was all alone; he captured hers because she refused to let go. She hoped for love, but got torture instead. He hoped for misery, but found happiness instead. She wished for him, and he wished for her. Their hearts met, but their eyes said no. The moon saw them both, with hopeless hearts. Then the night finally came and brought them light. Their hearts reunited, and so did their souls. That is what we call— soulmates.
