Two tired souls, without the same goals. Two tired souls, with no more interest in each other. It all started as a break for better days, but ended up as something endless. Now we’ve created a gap we cannot close. It’s too late to try again, too late to save it. We barely see each other from the other side. Our words for help keep resonating, played over and over again. Our hearts are cold, without warmth, and our hands are shaking, weak without the power of the other. Without each other, we are incomplete versions of ourselves. Yet being together has never worked either. Maybe we both need to let this path go, to create a new story, and show each other our backs. Or maybe, we should jump into the gap, and meet each other at the bottom.
