The Word washes, like an unapologetic wave. Informs, instructs, and aliegns with impact that changes you from the inside. For it is better to confront a friend than to be secretly angry in your heart. Silence gives no esteem, nor does it create a space for repentance. So let us not cry over friends we think are against us because whose tongue has never fallen or thrown dirt in their own face? The wise know the time and season their words should be sown. The foolish blabber like a shaken sode, uncontained. No matter the value, a gift from a fool is ruin. The wicked give gifts that will perish, take up space, and rob the poor. They hold the one receiving hostage to forced graditude and manipulation. Presents and bribes blind the eyes and create a coerced loyalty. A gift giver such as this is to be hated, not entertained. However, a good gift will doubles itself and provide for those attached. It redeems its recievers and draws in wise ears. A good gift never expires or substracts. It simply adds to our life and attaches to our inheritance. Let us not destroy ourselves with shame, Nor overthrow ourselves with partiality. But let the Word wash over us like an unapologetic wave.
