To grow beyond the boundaries of a prescribed space. A river that overflows its banks like the flesh that overlaps the tops of trousers. A childhood coloring book drawn far outside the lines. The ever growing creases of well bent books and crows feet. A garden that trails past its suburban square to share its flowers and fruits amongst neighbours. I look at this world fighting to shrink into isolation, and ask if it is not in nature to grow?
