Drip, drip, the faucet cries tears that never dry weight of the world crushing, suffocating me shadows creep, they whisper lies "you're not enough, you'll never try" echoes of a fractured mind lost, alone, and left behind but then a spark, a flicker glows a memory of love, a gentle touch it says "you're not alone, you're strong" the chains that bind begin to crack I take a breath, I let it go the weight that wasn't mine to hold I rise, I stretch, I start anew the sun, it shines, it sees me through coping's a journey, not a place it's okay to stumble, it's okay to pace I'll find my voice, I'll find my way I'll learn to heal, I'll learn to stay .
