I always thought I could never express myself Until one day I decided to pull out my diary from the shelf, I took a pen, And wrote until it was ten, And after finishing, I just stared at the piece of paper, And thought, was everyone around me a gatekeeper? Cause why did nobody tell me we could write such words so sweet? If I knew, I wouldn't have smoked weed. I finally found a way to express my feelings without using my vocal chords, By writing such beautiful words. And I can put all of my sorrow and grief, By writing these words in brief. 'I could never truly express my heart' was my belief, But I finally found a way now and it's such a relief. I finally found a way to get out of this misery, And it's by such sweet poetry
As we all have this certain ability about us that we find only when we're down to our last little bit of hope, it's our choice as to how we accept and embrace what we're given almost like another challenge in life either we use it or abuse it, and for my opinion I am glad that you have chosen to use yours with such finesse and grace creating something as beautiful and breathtaking
