*** ___ All these poems, for you, For every time my eyes close, I see you twirl, Like a ballerina on heels, like a wind so whirl, Like a siren, you sing and possess me, Like a nightingale, your voice jazzes me. I don't think I can stand silence from you. For you, William Shakespeare, I'll be. I just want to hear your voice, so from this curse I'm free. But it's a silly dream. For the more I hear your voice, the more I long for thee. I'm foolish with patience. My love for you is like science. Covalent bonds in chemistry. It just cannot be history. More songs I'll sing for you, like a canary. I know it's funny, it all sounds like fantasy. It's been long I wrote in such quantity, And the words I've used, this quality. My love for you is beyond the magic of a fairy. You're my rhythm. Neatly you were hidden. You now source my inspiration, which was once dimmed. The first I wrote this poem, it was a facade. I know this is different, cause for you, nothing I've paid. Thanks for being here in my heart. Cause for that, I'm in your debt. Outside of space and out of time. When the world is dark and grime. I won't be anywhere but with you. Even if the times are sore. Even if the sky rains acid. Even if men try to get of you rid. Even if we have to go off the grid. I'll do it for you if there be need. For in your light I’ve found my peace, And in your heart, my home remains. Neither distance, time, nor fate’s decree Can ever tear your soul from me. ---***
